Suit Manufacturer
Suit manufacturing in volume for brands and retailers
Tailoring is where bulk production is least forgiving. A suit has dozens of components that must come together the same way on every piece (shoulder, chest, lapel roll, sleeve pitch, trouser balance), and a fault that slips through cannot be pressed out once the goods have shipped.
Sampling available, quoted per project.
We produce suits, separate jackets, trousers and waistcoats in volume, either from your own patterns and specifications or as a private label programme developed with you. Behind it is a family business with more than 30 years of history in garment production, and a technical team with long experience on factory floors.
Your own designs, or a private label suit programme
If you already have a block, the house fit your customers come back for, we work to it exactly, from your patterns or from a reference suit. If you are building a tailoring offer from scratch, we develop the range with you: silhouette, fit, cloth, lining, buttons and branding, finished under your label.
Retailers often run both: a fashion-led collection in their own designs, and a core business-suit programme in navy, charcoal and grey that sells all year round and is reordered season after season. Both depend on the same thing: the hundredth suit fitting like the first.

What we control on every run
- Fit and balance: graded sizes that keep their proportions from the smallest size to the largest
- Construction: interlining, chest and shoulder build agreed at sample stage and repeated on every piece
- Pattern matching: checks and stripes aligned across fronts, pockets, collar and centre back
- Pressing and finishing: shoulders, lapels and creases set properly before anything is packed
- Separates: jackets and trousers kept consistent when they are sold and reordered independently
Cloth, trims and seasons
We work with worsted wools, wool blends and seasonal weights, from lighter spring and summer cloths to heavier autumn and winter flannels and tweeds, in plain weaves, checks and stripes. Linings, buttons and labels are chosen with you and locked in at pre-production, so reorders match the original.
Coordinated pieces can be produced alongside your suits: overcoats from our outerwear programme, or shirts, T-shirts and knitwear to complete a tailoring floor.
Step by Step
How a suit programme runs
Tailoring needs more fit work up front than most categories, so the early stages carry most of the weight.
Brief and block
Share your patterns, a reference suit or a description of the fit you want. We review it with our technicians and quote for your project.
Cloth and trims
Cloth, lining, interlining and buttons are agreed, with swatches and colour approvals where they matter.
Fit samples
Proto and fit samples are made and adjusted until balance and fit are right. Sampling is available and quoted per project.
Size set and pre-production
A graded size set confirms the fit across the range, and the pre-production sample becomes the standard the bulk order is checked against.
Bulk tailoring with in-line checks
Our technicians follow cutting, making and pressing in person, checking pieces throughout the run rather than only at the end.
Final inspection and dispatch
Finished suits are inspected, packed to your specification and shipped with the compliance documentation for your order.

Frequently asked questions
- Can you produce suits under our own brand?
- Yes. We produce private label suits developed with you, finished with your labels and packaging, as well as suits made to your own patterns and designs.
- Do you make suit separates?
- Yes. Jackets, trousers and waistcoats can be produced as separates, with fit and cloth kept consistent so they can be sold and reordered independently.
- Can you match checks and stripes across seams?
- Yes. Pattern matching is agreed at sample stage and checked during production, across fronts, pockets, collar and back seams.
- Can you reproduce the fit we already sell?
- Yes. We can work from your existing patterns or from a reference suit, and confirm the fit through samples before bulk production starts.
- How many fit samples should we expect?
- It depends on how close the first sample is to your target. Most styles need more than one round, and we keep going until the fit is signed off. Sampling is quoted per project.
- Do you produce suits for retailers' own-label ranges?
- Yes. Core suit programmes for retailers, reordered season after season, are exactly the kind of volume work we are set up for.
